The client wanted to make full use of their alcove spaces, preventing them from becoming wasted areas or cluttered dumping grounds. The aim was to create a practical yet aesthetically pleasing storage solution that complemented the traditional style of their home.

The Process
To ensure the new alcove shelves and storage cabinets blended seamlessly into the home, we designed them with traditional styling and practical functionality in mind. A standout feature of this project was the integration of basket storage within the cabinet, offering a visually appealing alternative to standard doors or drawers while keeping logs and kindling neatly stored for the fireplace. Soft-close mechanisms were included as a standard feature, ensuring a premium touch.
Final Result
This project was a great success, with the client delighted by the finished product, which exceeded their expectations. Having worked with this client previously, they appreciated the attention to detail we bring to every project. Since completing this installation, we have returned to their home for additional bespoke furniture, including fitted wardrobes and a hallway bench seat.
